Nancy was an advocate for women's protection and reproductive rights for as long as I can remember. She was one of the strongest and most stubborn people I've ever known and would not stand for anyone, let alone the government, to tell her what to do with her body. Seven years ago she took her own life after suffering from depression for decades, but her spirit lives on within so very many of us.
